A page is not visible

When a page is missing, start with the visitor symptom and follow one branch at a time. Do not delete, republish repeatedly, or change site-wide status merely to investigate.

Identify the exact symptom

Reproduce at the ordinary public URL

1. Open a signed-out browser.
2. Enter the expected ordinary path.
3. Remove any temporary /share address or admin preview route.
4. Record the visible result and a safe timestamp.

Do not include tokens, credentials, internal hosts, or identifiers in evidence.

Find the page before creating anything

1. Open Content > Pages.
2. Search for the human-readable page title.
3. If it is absent, use Search anything and check spelling.

Creating a duplicate can split edits and produce a second wrong URL. Diagnose the existing record first.

Read Draft, Live, and unpublished state

Verify the computed URL

1. Open Page settings.
2. Compare Parent Page, URL Segment, Full URL, Mount Path, and Page Type with the requested address.
3. For a Redirect, verify the target and 301 or 302 intent.

Changing a live path can break links. Preserve the previous path with a Redirect when needed.

Check site-wide status

Open Settings > Site Settings > Site Status. Normal serves page routes. Maintenance or Coming Soon replaces public routes for visitors while signed-in administrators can still see normal pages.

Changing Site Status affects every anonymous visitor and requires Superadmin approval. Read the current state during diagnosis; do not toggle it casually.

Separate a page problem from a menu problem

If the page works by direct URL but not from navigation, open Content > Menus. Confirm the rendered menu contains a Page link to the intended page. Repair a stale Custom URL and verify Parent Item nesting.

Check audience and site access

• Test with the visitor role that reported the problem.
• Check for password, authentication, captcha, or gated-content blocks.
• If every page fails, check the account portal site state.
• Use System Status only for a safe summary and never capture its identifying values.

Verify the smallest correction

1. Repeat the ordinary URL while signed out.
2. Use the row's View live route and confirm it agrees.
3. Test the menu item separately.
4. Check 1440×900 and 390×844 for the intended H1, current content, links, and overflow.

Recover and escalate safely

• Unpublish an incorrect release without deleting it.
• Restore the prior URL or add a Redirect.
• Repair the menu item instead of duplicating the page.
• Restore site status only with Superadmin approval.
• Escalate with page title, expected path, visible state, safe time, and reproduction steps—never credentials, tokens, raw identifiers, or internal hosts.
